This years V Festival has just been announced and it's bigger and better than ever!
Now in it's 19th year V Festival is renowned for bringing the very best eclectic music together for one mind-blowing weekend.
Justin Timberlake and The Killers will be joined by some of the biggest names in rock and pop at Weston Park in August.
Other acts to share the stage include Ed Sheeran, Lily Allen, Elbow and Chic featuring Nile Rodgers.
Festival bosses tonight said revellers are all set for a 'fantastic year' as this year's star-studded line-up was announced.
Paolo Nutini, Example and Rudimental are also among the first batch of stars unveiled for the event, sponsored by Virgin Media.
Acts will range from established favourites such as Elbow and Kaiser Chiefs and Manic Street Preachers to more recent acts such as Bastille, Tom Odell John Newman and Brit Award Critcis' Choice Award winner Sam Smith.
Other acts will include Miles Kane, Kodaline, The Human League, The Wailers and M People.
The festival - staged at Weston Park near Shifnal and Hylands Park, Chelmsford - will take place over the weekend of August 16 and 17.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 7 at 9am.
More acts who will take to the festival's four stages will be announced in the coming weeks.
More than 95,000 people flocked to last year's event which was headlined by Beyonce and Kings of Leon, while previous headliners include Coldplay, Radiohead, Oasis, Eminem, Foo Fighters, The Stone Roses and The Arctic Monkeys.
Comedy fans will also be catered for in the Glee Club Comedy Tent.
V Festival directors Bob Angus, Simon Moran and Dennis Desmond said: "We're very excited to announce the V Festival line-up, and proud to bring headliners Justin Timberlake and The Killers, following on from their sold out Wembley Stadium show in 2013, with both headliners summer festival exclusives.
"We have pulled together a line-up of huge depth with a variety of artists across many musical genres and 2014 is set to be another fantastic year in V Festival's 19 year history."
Simon Moran added: "I am looking forward to seeing so many artists this year but I am personally very much looking forward to seeing a great performance from Chic with Nile Rodgers."
