Gin lovers, this one is for you. If you haven’t heard of The Jekyll and Hyde you’ve either been living under a rock, or you just don’t love gin enough to come and find this place. Located on Steelhouse Lane in the Colmore Business District, The  Jekyll and Hyde offers a slightly quirky twist to your average cocktail bar and restaurant. 

Perfect for a night out at the end of the week, The Jekyll and Hyde has some of the coolest cocktails in Birmingham.

Step into the life of Victorian botanical explorer Hettie G Watson, The Lost & Found is chance for you to get in touch with the explorer in you. Located in Bennetts Hill The Lost & Found is probably one of Birmingham’s best kept secrets when it comes to cocktail lounges and restaurants. 

Each room is a site to behold and certainly ticks off the criteria of being one of the most unique places in Birmingham. Whether you fancy a beer, or a sophisticated cocktail, The Lost & Found has a beverage that is guaranteed to tickle your taste buds.

10. The Botanist – Birmingham

Following in the steps of The Lost & Found, The Botanist offers a botanical twist to your average cocktail bar. 

With a chic interior design, you’ll find yourself sipping on a cocktail served in a tiny planting pot and nibbling on food served in a potting trowels, bird boxes and tiny wheel barrows. It hasn’t even been open a year, yet The Botanist – located on Temple Street - is rapidly becoming one of the many quirky hot-spots in Birmingham. 

You won’t be short of things to choose from as The Botanist offers a huge variety of cocktails; from long, short, martini based, gin based and sharers, you’re sure to find a cocktail to suit you. The Botanist also offers cocktail masterclasses and ale tasting sessions.
