Wolverhampton goes pop with 90s legends in tow

One of Wolverhampton's busy nightclubs is getting a makeover and a new name.

Wolverhampton goes pop with 90s legends in tow

Popworld, is the citys newest night-time venue and opens tonight already causing a frenzy because 90s pop boy band Five will be getting the party started.

The former Babylon site has also created eight new jobs.

Ben Triance, manager of Popworld explains, “Since we closed on Sunday 17th November, we've had people contact us in order to attend the opening night of Popworld where members of 90s boy band 5ive will be hosting a meet and greet session, fresh from their stint at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. We've had so many people contact us that all of our VIP booths are fully booked for the night and we have a queue for the guest list so we expect it to be a night to remember.

The Popworld team have tried to create a relaxing atmosphere where you can dance like no-ones watching, sing your heart out and feel safe.

The club will host party nights where customers can share a multitude of cocktails.

Mr Triance went on to say “People from far and wide loved coming to Babylon because of our party music and that won’t change, we’ll simply be broadening the genre of music that we play, spanning three decades. We look forward to showcasing Popworld to the visitors and residents of Wolverhampton.”
