Birmingham rockers SHVPES are heading out on a mammoth tour.
The hardcore band is fronted by Griffin Dickinson, son of legendary Iron Maiden frontman, Bruce, and are carving a name for themselves in their own right without relying on nepotism. The first few dates of the tour, including a night at the Rainbow Cellar on Thursday, are headline slots, before they team up with Press to Meco for a co-headline tour.
The tour is to support their forthcoming debut album PAIN. JOY. ECSTASY. DESPAIR, which will be released on October 14. After a summer in which they earned rave reviews across the festival circuit, including a hit set at Download, the future certainly seems to be throwing up some big shvpes for the Brum band.
