News broke out late on Sunday that One Direction are set to break up in March 2016.
Yesterday Liam Payne broke the bands silence by tweeting his thanks to the many fans that attended Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium concert.
Liam Payne started his career on X Factor 2008, singing Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra. He succeeded in getting all the way to Simon Cowell's house before being told he hadn't been selected for the live shows.

It was back to Wolverhampton for Payne but fortunately not for long. During the 2010 edition of X Factor, Liam decided to audition again.
Unfortunately by the time he reached the end of the Boot Camp stage, it had ended up in more disappointment. Along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson , Liam was told for the second time that he would be heading home.
Then came a ray of hope. Liam, along with his future band-mates, were given a chance to return to the live shows under the name One Direction.
From this point onwards, Liam has been on a relentless journey, gaining millions of fans and undeniably confirmed his status as one of the worlds most recognisable faces.
