Superdrug release sexercise track

Who could resist those headphones?

When most people think people think of Superdrug, they think of make-up, shampoo, bubble bath, you know, the usual things. However, today this quiet high street store have launched the world’s first ever Sexercise music track.

Yes you heard us right. This track’s sole purpose is to help you and your partner keep fit beneath the sheets.

The music has been created by a team of fitness experts, who first developed a carefully choreographed sex routine to ensure optimum calorie burn to get the best bedroom workout. Following this, music producers analysedthe sexual habits of 2,000 British couples, finding that, on average, we have sex 1.88 a week.

Caris Newson, head of retail health at Superdrug explains: “Over the years the many health benefits of sex have been well documented, from beating stress and relieving pain, to bringing couples together and boosting confidence...It’s an easy way for couples to incorporate exercise in to their daily routine.”

The track last for exactly 22min 48s, which is apparently the average time that a love making session in the UK lasts for. Interesting.

So what do you think, a great way to work out while enjoying yourself or a weird soundtrack that makes you feel like you’re in a 70’s home movie? The bigger question is, would you use it?
