Maya's back with a brilliant spring blog.
With new plants poking up through the soil, birds building nests and laying eggs, more hours of sunshine in the day, it can only mean one thing… Spring is in full swing!
Spring is one of my favourite times of the year. I love waking up to the sweet sound of birds singing happily away and the sun shining through my windows - it’s my very own Disney princess moment!
|I just love the way spring represents a recreation in
nature, but also with ourselves.|
A birth. A fresh start. A new beginning filled with a clean slate and more opportunities to come.
Out with the old, and in with the new - it’s time for that annual spring clean.
With the weather so lovely at the moment, I have all the things you need to get yourself, and your home in order so here are a few of my favourites from Selfridges, Birmingham.

Don’t forget to give your wardrobe a spring clean too!
Put those winter coats, wooly jumpers, hats, gloves and scarves away to very back of your wardrobes. It’s time to get your spring summer wardrobe at the ready with t-shirts, pretty dresses, light cardigans/cover ups, loose shirts, sandals and not forgetting your favourite pair of sunnies.

A good thing I ask myself is, “Have you worn this in the last 6 months?”Don’t forget, spring cleaning is one of the best times to de-clutter your wardrobe, bringing in new clothes, and getting rid of old ones.
If the answer is no the chances of me wearing it in the next 6 months are pretty slim!
So, I say get an empty bag and fill it up with all your unwanted clothes. If they are all in good condition drop them off to your local charity shop.
Have you got yourself ready for Spring? How do you get ready for Spring?
Leave a comment, I’d love to know!
