When a vinyl disk with a password and little information turned up at our desk, we were hooked on Live at Level 25 from the very beginning.

Inside the Steakhouse and Grill

I hopped on a train, followed its precise instructions and turned up on floor 25 in the lavish settings of the Cube in Birmingham, and walked into the opulent Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill eager to see what delights awaited me.

I must admit, I was nervous before setting foot inside. I had preconceptions of being snubbed from the get go for my little-to-no knowledge of fine dining, but I was greeted with a welcoming smile by the maitre'd and head of sale and we were given a DJ name to boot!

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill is reinventing live entertainment in Birmingham, with the launch of #LiveonLevel25, featuring a state of the art giant touchscreen glass DJ deck, straight from Miami, and to celebrate, they're throwing one hell of a party.

Guests are treated to a night of sumptuous street food from their executive head chef, who talked us through life in his fast-paced work environment and wowed my taste buds, providing a simple kebab or burger option heaped with flavour, fresh ingredients that are prepared right before your eyes.

You can also pour your very own pints, guided by their very own bar manager, and watch the mixologists strut their stuff as they turn their cocktail making into an art-form as they waltz across the bar in perfect synchronicity.

The staff cannot do enough to make every person there feel welcome. They go out of their way to tell you everything they can about their workplace, and how much they love working there. It is clear this is no t an act, these staff have a real passion and flair for customer service.

All this before you've even set foot in the club itself.

What's behind the unassuming black door to #LiveOnLevel25 is magestic. Glass walls that look across the grandeur of the Birmingham skyline, plush cushioned pillars, a jet black bar with hot pink lights dancing across the marbelled ceiling, and a grand piano taking centre stage in the room.

Music is behind everything this club wants to achieve, with cool; acoustic music from the soulful Faye Elizabeth Smith to create a chilled out atmosphere that you can really take your surroundings in with, or even join in for a little jam.

As the lights dim and smoke erupts from pillars, Chloe of Elegant Entertainment takes to the stage to perform her infectious DJ mixes on the brand new 42 inch transparent deck.

The surprises don't end there, joining her from all corners of the room are is a live piano player, bongo player and saxophonist that coax the crowd to join in as much as possible whether that be dancing, grabbing and instrument or getting up and controlling the decks.

#LiveOnLevel25 combines two great nights out - the open mic nights and the cocktail bar in one picturesque atmosphere to create one of the liveliest nights out I have ever had the pleasure of embarking upon. What more could you want than sampling a quality burger, a sweet cocktail, a beautiful view and some high quality local music?
