When it comes to carveries, Toby Carvery really know their stuff, but one that particularly stands out is Toby Carvery Norton Canes.
Boasting that it is “Cannock’s favourite carvery restaurant” it is easy to see why with a variety of choice from 4 roast meats and an array of vegetables from £6.29, or £1.50 extra to supersize for extra meat and Yorkshire puddings.
Their seasonal vegetables change year round to offer tantalising variety, but one thing that never does is their crispy British potatoes, cooked in rapeseed oil to ensure they are low in saturated fat.
Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn - Ludlow Road, Bridgnorth
With low beam ceilings, intimate dining rooms, open fireplaces and the grand Tudor style study room, Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn is the perfect venue for any outing.
Carvery wise however this establishment boasts the multi-award winning AGA carvery service steeped in tradition, serving the best quality traditional produce straight to your hot plate.
Two-course evening specials starting from £9.95 are available Tuesday to Thursday, with the Sunday AGA carvery at the same price.

Following a complete refurbishment, the Madebrook Carvery now has a new menu.
Costing £5.95 on weekdays from 5pm to 8.30pm, £4.89 from 12pm to 4pm, and £7.49 on a Sunday, you have the choice of three meats and as many seasonable vegetables as you can eat. You also have the option to go large for an extra £1.50 for extra meat, sausages and a Yorkshire pudding.
There is also a daily vegetarian special option and a homemade pie of the day.
The Down Inn - Ludlow Road, Bridgnorth
The Down Inn has been a family run pub for more than 10 years, complete with a carvery throughout the week.
Choose any combination from 3 roasts and 8 freshly steamed and roasted vegetables for your meal, accompanied by home cooked Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and a range of sauces.
Lunchtime and evening carveries in the week cost only £8.50 per person with Saturday evening and Sunday carveries priced only at £9.50 per person. All children’s carveries cost only £6.95.
Affcot Lodge - Upper Affcot, Church Stretton
The Affcot Lodge hotel offers upgraded accommodation, extensive bar facilities and fresh local produce alongside their famous carvery.
With a choice of four meats, gigantic Yorkshire puddings, and a huge variety of vegetables and sauces, you can even personalise your experience with cooking requests to suit your own personal taste.
All of this costs just £9.95 with the option of upgrading to a two course meal (main and pudding) for just £14.20. All children under 12s meals are just £4.95 with no charge for babies.
Mill Farm - Lichfield Road, Cannock
With a modern, spacious interior and everything from all-you-can-eat breakfasts, an array of brugers, baguettes, pizzas, wraps and other meals, there’s something for everyone at this family-friendly eatery.
But their high-quality carveries are well worth a try, priced at an affordable £7.49 for a standard dinner on a Sunday - or £4.99 during the week.
They also offer the option of going large or small - and provide vegetarian options.
