Ming Moon on the A449 Stafford Road  in Wolverhampton has been revamped following work on its bar and dining area.

The buffet restaurant had been known as Wing Wah but has been rebranded to match its sister site in Birmingham. It was launched with a spectacular fire breathing dance.

For the last few weeks it has been boarded up as work on the 240-capacity venue was carried out ahead of its grand reopening.

New features include  teppanyaki cooking from an award-winning chef. It has also seen its bar modernised, with the interior decorated in black and gold. Marketing manager Shuai Yang said: “The comments from customers have all been very good and they have all really liked the variety.

“They have spoken about how fresh the food is and they like the teppanyaki displays. As Wing Wah the food was focused on a Chinese buffet but with Ming Moon it’s that plus Japanese and Indian cuisine.”
