Sleek and sharp – this picture shows the stylish new look planned for Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre’s new Grand Circle suite as part of the venue’s £800,000 revamp.
The theatre will undergo its biggest refurbishment to date this summer, including a complete renovation of the front of house areas on all three levels of the building.
The renovations will see the introduction of five exclusive booths on the dress circle level and two rooms that will be relaxing suites for audiences to enjoy before shows and during the intervals.
And this is an exclusive glimpse of what visitors to the Grand Circle suite can expect.
The rooms show a modern design for the area, with plush gold-coloured curtains, gold and grey chairs and stools, and coordinating artwork adorning the walls.
The theatre has revealed the new look as it invites members of the public to play their part in the refurbishment by submitting suggestions for the names of the booths on the dress circle level and two suites – one in the dress circle and the other in the grand circle.
The names given to the booths and suites should be appropriate to the world of theatre.

People can submit suggestions on the theatre’s website at www.grandtheatre.co.uk until Sunday.
A shortlist will be drawn and voting will then open on the Grand Theatre website from May 16-29.
Winning names will be revealed in June.
Refurbishment of the theatre will start in July, in the week following the final performance of Guys and Dolls.
