One of the nation’s most treasured entertainers will visit Birmingham’s New Alexandra Theatre on Sunday with her brand new show, Making Memories.
It is packed full of phenomenal songs and arrangements featuring exceptional musicians and singers performing alongside Jane McDonald.
The former star of Loose Women shot to fame almost 20 years ago on the hit TV show, The Cruise.
And she got in shape for her present tour by going on a diet and shedding plenty of weight.
“I’ve been like this for a year now, I went on Sugar Free Farm for ITV,” she said.
“I didn’t think I was overweight when I went in there but I changed my diet and I just feel so much better.
“I’ve got a lot more energy, I look different and I feel fantastic, and that’s just by cutting out sugar from my diet.
Jane has ruled out a return to Loose Women any time soon because her tour and other commitments means she is booked up until 2018.
Some things don’t change, however, and she still lives in her home town, in Yorkshire.
“Everyone’s always shocked that I’m still based in Yorkshire, but going home there is my sanctuary. Home is where the heart is, and my mother, sister and brother are there, and my partner.”
